 Peony & Landscape Inspiration

 Hi Michael, I put together this gallery to help you visualize different planting/ color combinations with some rock solid deer proof plants.  All of them will look fantastic with the dark green evergreens, mugo pines, spruces and other evergreens, and will all look stunning with your brick wainscotting. Just to draw out the gorgeous and not clash with the terra cotta orange, we have to channel my inner Italian Grandma, Nonna, go Italian colors or go home. 

That wall is actually perfect – I found a pic that was kind of similar so you can really see how awesome it’s going to look with the bright Italian colors. These are just ideas to spark creativity for your project — showing real color combinations, bloom density, and planting structure possibilities.   I divided it into peonies and then a second gallery with other deer proof plants that will keep blooming after the peonies are finished, so you get flowers all season, plus fall colors.  Most if not all of the summer plant gallery items are available in town – I can go shopping with you guys if you want for the things we don’t carry here (because shopping for plants is my favorite even though I grow plants).  

Bonus – they’re ALL perennial, so one and done.   Extra Bonus – none of these plants are fussery or difficult. Extra Extra Super Bonus- all of these are pollinator favs so you will have tons of bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
